The feeling of disappointment, diverse in its forms and intensities, can act as a revealing force, exposing what we value, desire and hope to preserve.
Through this project I explore and interpret disappointments. Some images in the series document significant life events; others capture fleeting, everyday disappointments. The series is interwoven with symbolic and abstract images, creating a visual language of unpredictability and ambiguity—states that underlie the feeling of disappointment. Together, these images reflect on the shared but often hidden experiences that define the deeper self.
